人類免疫缺乏病毒(HIV)感染(Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV)/
後天免疫缺乏症候群(愛滋病)(Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, AIDS)
HIV，指的是人類免疫缺乏病毒（Human Immunodeficiency Virus），會透過體液在人跟人之間傳染，攻擊人類免疫系統，使其無法正常運作。
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus, transmitted through the body fluids, that damages the cells in your immune system and weakens your ability to fight everyday infections and disease.
愛滋病，指的是後天免疫缺乏症候群（Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome，AIDS），是指當感染 HIV 的人沒有進行適當醫療照護，導致其免疫系統已被嚴重損害，使形成危及生命的感染或疾病。
AIDS(Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is the name used to describe a number of potentially life-threatening infections and illnesses that happen when your immune system has been severely damaged by the HIV virus without proper medical care.
所以HIV 帶原者不一定會得愛滋病，只要獲得有效治療處置也可以活得長久、健康，並保護伴侶。
So, people with HIV who get effective HIV treatment can live long, live healthy and protect their partners.

愛滋篩檢
愛滋病毒篩檢對象及頻率: Should I get tested for HIV? How often?
1.有性行為者，建議至少進行1次篩檢。Who have sex should get tested at least once.
2.有無套性行為者，建議每年至少進行1次篩檢。Who have sex without using condom properly should get tested every year.
3.若有感染風險行為（如與人共用針具、多重性伴侶、合併使用成癮性藥物、感染性病等），則建議每3至6個月篩檢1次。
Who is at higher risk, like sharing needles, having more than one sex partner, having another sexually transmitted disease, should get tested every three to six months.
匿名篩檢是準確、注重隱私且免費的，定期做匿名篩檢，面對自己，就是愛自己。
HIV testing is anonymous, private and free. Test regularly, and love yourself.
